From an email I received September 20, 2015:
Your image No. 9 in your art collection is a lithograph or etching by Frederic Louis Leve (Fred Leve), born 3 July 1877 in Paris and who died 27 May 1968 in Bry-sur-Marne, France.
This particular lithograph is mentioned in a guide to an exhibition about the artist which was organized near Paris in April 2006. The catalogue includes a reproduction of the lithograph. Please see http://expovillevaude.monsite-orange.fr/fredericleve/. The lithographs were often printed in 150 copies. Today, small (unframed) lithographs by Fred Leve frequently appear on eBay with a price tag of about 30 to 50 Euros (US$ 34 to US$ 56).
The author of the catalogue gives the title of the lithograph as Le barrage du moulin (The mill-dam).
Some years ago I compiled a list of the paintings and lithographs by Fred Leve. This lithograph was included in exhibitions held in Paris in 1912 and in 1914.
